Spaces, IDnow VideoIdent, and a refreshed look for Dotfile

As your client base grows, so does everything attached to it: more clients needing access, more jurisdictions to cover, more people logged into the platform. This release ships three changes to help you manage that. Spaces lets you give a client access to their own cases without exposing the rest of your workspace. IDnow VideoIdent adds regulator-grade, agent-led video verification to the cases that need it under German AML law. And a refreshed UI gives Dotfile a more considered, elevated look.
Spaces: Every customer in their own space
Previously, everyone you invited to a workspace could see every case in it. Giving one client access meant exposing all data in the system, so most teams didn't hand over access at all.
Spaces removes that trade-off. Split your workspace into groups, assign a case to a space, and members invited to that space see only the cases in theirs. Nothing else: not other spaces' cases, not unassigned cases, not your settings.
Your workspace settings, templates, and existing cases stay where they are. You're scoping who sees what, not rebuilding your setup. Workspace admins and members keep a full cross-space view and can filter the case list by space when they need to focus on one.
For BaaS providers whose fintechs onboard their own users, a platform serving a network of accounting firms, or any business whose clients verify their own suppliers and customers: you can now hand over access without handing over the entire platform.
IDnow VideoIdent: regulator-grade verification, only on the cases that need it
If you're an obliged entity under German AML law, a static document upload doesn't meet BaFin's standard for verifying a signatory remotely . You need a live, agent-led check.
IDnow VideoIdent is now a vendor option on the existing Identity Verification check. A trained IDnow agent verifies your signatory over a short live video call, using the BaFin-certified VideoIdent scenario. The signatory's name, date of birth, and address carry over from Dotfile, so they don't re-enter what you already hold. The agent makes the decision, and the outcome comes back to the case.
Apply it selectively.Add VideoIdent to a template for your German-regulated flows only, and leave your other flows on existing vendors. Every completed session stores its evidence on the case: a PDF summary, the captured images, and the video recording. Evidence is retained for 35 days, and it's what you export for a BaFin request.
A refreshed workspace, with less on screen
Dotfile has a new, more considered and refined look. Not much has changed: your workflows, templates, and cases are exactly where you left them. Settings now sit in the Workspace menu, out of the way of the people who never need them, for a cleaner first load and a simpler view for analysts and read-only roles.
Autonomy has also been uplifted, with more intuitive navigation, a new animated assistant, and a clearer view of conversation history. Spend less time working out where things are, and more time on the investigation itself, whether you're new to Dotfile or picking up a case someone else started.
