Identity verification does not always require a document upload. In many jurisdictions, validating personal information directly against government registries and credit bureaus is faster, equally defensible, and what regulators actually expect.

The check runs entirely in the background: no end-user interaction, no document request, no waiting. As a long-standing provider of identity and fraud prevention technology to regulated industries, GBG ensures every check meets the expectations of local regulators and global compliance standards. A result comes back in under a second. GBG validates the individual's details against national databases, each field assessed independently, with a default requirement of matching against at least two independent sources before approval. When sources disagree, you can see exactly where.

Results map to three outcomes: automatic approval, automatic rejection, or a need review flag for your team. Every outcome is traceable and explainable.

eKYC or document IDV: you decide

Not every case warrants the same approach. Inside Dotfile, you have full control over when eKYC runs and when document IDV applies. You can configure this per country, per case type, or per risk profile, and combine both methods in a single Template using eKYC as the first pass and escalating to document IDV only where needed.
